“Nesting

Today there was in interesting tidbit in the National Association of Realtors newsletter. It said:

“When buyers were asked where they first learned about the home they purchased, 40 percent said the Internet; 35 percent from their real estate agent; 11 percent a yard sign; 6 percent from a friend, neighbor or relative; 5 percent home builders; 2 percent a print or newspaper ad; 2 percent directly from the seller; and less than 1 percent from a home book or magazine.”

I tell my sellers all the time; – it’s all about the internet these days. Print marketing for homes is D-E-A-D. Realtors with access to a central MLS (like Realtracs locally) and buyers themselves are using the internet  in 75% of transactions. Zillow, Trulia, Realtor.com, YouTube, THIS website, even Craigslist, at Keller Williams we syndicate out listings all over the web with professional photography on every single home.
