East Nashville is one of our very favorite “hoods”. About 30% of our business happens on the side of the river that the Titans call home. The quaint architecture and amazing amenities make 37206 one of the hippest ZIPS around.
The east side is actually comprised of a number of sub-neighborhoods (Historic Edgefield, Lockeland Springs, Rosebank, Eastwood Neighbors, and several others) each one with its own unique feel and history.
With the exception of a handful of condo developments, East Nashville is comprised mainly of well-established neighborhoods constructed from the early 1900s to the 1940s. Most underwent a resurgence that started after the great Nashville tornado of 1998. Additionally, there is a ton of new urban infill construction happening now.
East Nashville is home to both those who are young and those who are young-at-heart. It’s a bit of everything: funky, alternative, hipster, established… You name it! Songwriters, artists, and young families have all been attracted to the area.
