East Nashville is one of my very favorite “hoods” in town. About 30% of our business happens on on the side of the river that the Titans call home. The quaint architecture and amazing amenities make 37206 one of the hippest ZIPS around.
The east side is actually comprised of a number of “sub-neighborhoods” (Historic Edgefield, Lockeland Springs, Rosebank, Eastwood Neighbors and several others) each one with its own unique feel and history.
With the exception of a few newer condo developments, East Nashville is comprised mainly of well-established neighborhoods constructed from the early 1900’s to the 1940’s. Many have undergone a recent resurgence that started after the great Nashville tornado of 1998. There is also a ton of new urban infill construction happening right now.
East Nashville is home to those who are young and young at heart. A bit of everything: funky, alternative, hipster, established… You name it! Songwriters, artists, and young families have all been attracted to the area.
