The Nations – This is a neighborhood that was “taking off” just a few short years ago, and it has done just that. Home values have kept pace with (and in some cases, exceeded) similarly built homes in East Nashville. With increasing home equity has come all the trendy area businesses you’d expect to find. Indie coffee shops, farm-to-table and French-inspired dining, Indian finger food from Maneet Chauhan, and Hattie B’s Hot Chicken. If you’re thirsty, stop in at M. L. Rose, a local pub that has expanded into three locations.
Homes here will mostly be in the “tall skinny” style as zoning allows, though a few older renovations do occasionally come to market. Several townhome-style condo developments are available as a great option for more budget-conscious buyers.
