55+ Adult Active Community Coming To Murfreesboro

There’s an exciting new development breaking ground soon in Murfreesboro – The Farmstead at Southern Harmony from Del Webb. This active adult community for people ages 55 and better is planned for delivery in late 2023. Nashville ranks in the top 25 best places to retire in the US, and the #1 best place to live in Tennessee in 2022, according to US News and World Reports. The Murfreesboro location allows for a mid size town living experience within reach of all the big city excitement.

They’ve designed a set of floor plans that can be centered around what you want to do and how you want to live. Whether cooking, entertaining, hosting out-of-town guests, or taking up a new hobby, there is a plan for that. You can expect luxury features such as zero-entry showers, point-of-use storage, widened hallways, and open flowing spaces in every plan.

The Scenic Series homes allow you to downsize and upgrade all at once. With floor plans that average 1,471 sq. ft., these homes are just the right size, giving you room to breathe without wasted space.

The Distinctive Series offers the best of both simplicity and luxury with mid-range floor plan sizes averaging 1,877 sq. ft. These homes are great for owners who like to play host to out-of-town guests with the addition of a third bedroom, plus the extra square footage allows for more floor plan personalization.

The Echelon Series boasts a new level of luxury with the largest floor plans of all. These homes will make a grand impression with an average size of 2.246 sq. ft.

Each series features several different floor plans to choose from with varying sizes and features, and those plans will be available for review soon. There will be a total of 1,111 homes built across the expansive 522 acre site. Each home will be designed with one level living in mind, though some larger homes can allow for an upstairs bonus room. HOA dues will include lawncare for the individual homes.

You can purchase one of these homes yourself as a 55+ adult, or buy one for your mother or father, as long as one person in the home is 55 or better. Children and grandchildren under the age of 19 are welcome, but can’t live here permanently.
