Have you seen the commercials for Dragon dictation software? I have been seeing them on television for a while now and I thought *wow* I might be a more productive blogger if I can just dictate my posts instead actually writing them out. Well today that’s exactly what I’m doing. I downloaded the Dragon app from the app store on my new ipad and today’s my first shot at trying to dictate a blog. I just took a look at the text that the program has gathered so far, and I see several typos already. I wonder if I’ll spend more time fixing the typos that I would have typing out a blog the long way?
I must admit I’m not a very good typist; I never took it in school. Probably the biggest schooling mistake I ever made. I was an office worker instead and while the hall pass privileges were great, I sure wish I were a better typist today.
At any rate, today I’m really just testing out the software. Have you had any luck with Dragon? Do you know other bloggers that are having luck with it? Are you noticing a difference in the “voice” or delivery style? Let me know your experiences and opinion.
