East Nashville
🍅 East Nashville is one of our very favorite “hoods.” About 30% of our business happens on the side of the river that the Titans call home. The quaint architecture and unique, indie amenities make 37206 one of the hippest ZIPS around.Â
The east side is comprised of several sub-neighborhoods (map), includingÂ
Historic Edgefield, Lockeland Springs, Rosebank, Eastwood Neighbors, and several others, each with its own unique feel and history.
Aside from a handful of condo developments, East Nashville comprises well-established neighborhoods constructed from the early 1900s to the 1940s. Most underwent a resurgence that started after the Great Nashville Tornado of 1998. Additionally, a ton of new urban infill construction is happening now.
East Nashville is home to both the young and young at heart. It’s a bit of everything: funky, alternative, hipster, established… you name it! Songwriters, artists, and young families have all been attracted to the area.
37206 is the dominant zip associated with the east side, but you may also want to consider nearby 37216 (Inglewood) and 37207 (Cleveland/McFerrin Park).
