Nashville Ranks 2nd Best College Town for Real Estate Investing

According to a report from Move.com investors could soon outnumber traditional home purchasers by 3-to-1. “Nashville ranks No. 2 for the best college town real estate market behind Boston. Nashville’s median list price is $189,900  and the average rental rates for a two-bedroom unit cost $949 and $1,020 for a three or more bedroom unit. These prices are higher than a mortgage payment of around $770 for a median-priced home. Renting property could allow landlords to receive more bang for their buck, the report suggests.” read more…
