In Nashville, almost all companies use the Tennessee Association of Realtors F9 “Purchase & Sales Agreement” when making an offer on a property. This is a quick 5 minute video to explain the basic process. I find the offer writing process with go a lot more smoothly if you know what to expect.

Call on me if you are interested in purchasing a home in the Greater Nashville area. You can also visit my Documents Blog to find an example of the most recent TN Purchase and Sale Agreement contract available at the time of this posting for your review.

As a side note, it is vitally important that you have a pre-approval letter in hand at the time you make an offer. Your offer will carry more weight when accompanied by a lender-approval letter and if you are going up against other buyers, your offer will likely by rejected if a pre-qualification letter isn’t present.
