Stephanie, a Nashville native, embarked on her real estate journey in 2003 after obtaining her license, initially to facilitate the rehab and flipping of homes. However, she soon realized her true passion lay not in the houses themselves but in the relationships and opportunities to help people navigate the real estate market. Known for her tech-savviness and analytical skills, Stephanie excels in evaluating homes and assessing their potential for future appreciation.
Her dedication to the field was recognized in 2016 when she was elected to the board of directors for the Greater Nashville Realtors®, an association with over 5,000 members. Stephanie remains an active contributor, particularly on the MLS Advisory Committee, all while living with and thriving despite multiple sclerosis.
James’s path took a more creative route. A Nashville native, he pursued his musical dreams before transitioning to graphic design in the late ‘90s, all while keeping his music alive on weekends. Joining the real estate business full-time in 2014, after Stephanie’s diagnosis with MS, James brought his graphic design and marketing skills into full play. Clients appreciate his honest, relaxed approach and his quick wit, often lighting up the more serious moments of the home buying and selling process.
In their daily workflow, Stephanie is the master of contracts, negotiations, and marketing, managing these from her home office. James, on the other hand, thrives out in the field, touring homes with buyers and meeting with sellers.
Outside of work, Stephanie finds joy in audiobooks, live concerts, her swim spa, and exploring Nashville’s incredible dining scene. James enjoys cooking, tabletop games (he’s an unapologetic geek), and a good single-malt scotch—though not on the days he rides his Indian motorcycle. Together, they reside in the historic Bluefields neighborhood with their dogs, Stella and Barkley, and invest in Nashville’s housing rental market as a step towards securing their retirement.
